I hope you have all had a wonderful summer.  Our weather here has been more cold than hot, so I'm loving living in Huntington Beach!

Our first committee meeting has been scheduled last month.  Alma, Lola, Christine and I met at El Torito and laughed, talked, planned and ate all afternoon.  Our goal is to have the best 15 year anniversary possible. 

The new t-shirts will be made out of a sports shirt with yellow sleeves (mid length) with a white base.  One the front will be the graphic calling out the 15th anniversary.  On the back will be our name (first or last) and the years you've attended the awards.

Dinner will be on the patio of the hotel and pasta will be the mail meal.

Only one award will be given out, but I won't spoil the surprise and list it here.

Send me your favorite picture from the last 15 years and we will make up a collage from everyones pictures.

Also send me a picture of you as an infant and we will try to match up the pictures with each of us.

As listed in the September newsletter, a cake decorating contest will be played to decide what picture/design should be on the cake for this big celebration.  Send in your ideas ASAP to Fran and Elmer.  The contest closes at the end of the year.

More things were decided at the meeting, but I'm drawing a blank right now.  Will update this website in a month or so.
