Hello to everyone of you!

The Oscar season is over and I had a ball. Did you? 

The formal dinner was fabulous thanks to everyone in the group surprising me with a cake and gifts.  Tons of gifts!!  I was being honored for being me.  How cool is that?  It took me something like an hour to open all my gifts and as usual, the cake tasted great (thanks Fran and Elmer!).  Due to computer complications, I had to create new awards to give out.  So upon careful deliberation, I decided to create a CLIFF AWARD which got presented to Jill.  The second award was a GEORGE (Pennacchio) AWARD which got presented to Charles.  I believe both awards were well received.  In fact, George came to the formal dinner to see the award and showed it on the evening news.  Guess we're a hit again!!

Speaking of George, he called for an interview on Thursday night.  We needed to meet him on 'George's Corner' around 10:00 pm.  I ran to everyone's room, banged on their doors and told them to get up and get dressed.  George was waiting!!  15 minutes later our newest member, Courtney had her first television interview.  How cool is that?

Once on the bleachers I had a chance to sit with Fran and Elmer, Jill and Courtney in front of me, Cathy and Vicky, and Danielle on my right, Sylvia and Ingmar to my left. The best pairing I've ever had! We really had a great time laughing and talking all day long.  It was so much fun.  The only down side was sitting in the 2nd row.  I'm too short to sit in the second row.  Also my camera did fine if the celebrity came to the railing.  If not, the picture was useless.  Thank God for Elmer and whatever camera he's using!!
